Customer Review: As good as a vacuum, at 1/10 the price!

I've been using this in my shop (with a short-pile carpet) for about 8 months now, and it's fabulous! It picks up crumbs, dust, lint and all the random detritus that comes in from the street. It's also fun to push around - the people that have helped me clean are just amazed that it works, which makes them want to use it more.

I wonder what will happen when the brushes get worn out - is there a way to replace them?

An ideal tool for dry pickups and quick cleaning, the Bissell Swift Sweep carpet sweeper is quiet, motorless, and multifunctional. Use it on bare floors or carpets to sweep up dirt and crumbs, and slide it under furniture to trap lint and dust bunnies. The sweeper's dual-direction brush roll snags debris off the floor in both forward and reverse, so coverage is highly efficient. The twin dustpans empty easily with a simple push from underneath, and a clip-on comb helps keep the brush roll clean. Made of durable steel with a thick rubber bumper, the sweeper is long lasting and kind to floors and furniture. The construction is straightforward, easy to use, and lightweight in action.
