WOW! This vacuum is like no other. My family tends to be a hard on vacuums and we usually have to buy a new one every year. I usually buy one of the $99 dollar models that are on sale. This time I decided to be not so cheap and I'm so very glad I did, this vacuum is worth every cent I paid for it.
The Bissell Healthy Home vacuum has excellent suction and just as some of the other reviewers have stated, it actually fluffs up the carpet. My bedroom has carpet in it that is 25 years old....I didn't think it would ever "fluff up" again, but it did!
This vacuum doesn't leave that nasty odor in the air after using it, just a nice pleasant smell...that's the way it should be!
It's the quietest vacuum I have ever heard. Emptying the dirt canister is a breeze.
Yes, this vacuum is slightly heavy, but who doesn't need a little more exercise in their life? It really isn't that bad. And to the mothers who have complained that this vacuum falls over easy and has fallen on their toddlers...vacuums aren't playgrounds, your vacuum wasn't made for your child to crawl all over it.
I love the fact that the rotating brush stops when the handle is placed in the upright position. For those of you who don't know...if you vacuum's rotating brush continues to spin when you are just letting it sit there while you use the hose attachment...that is damaging your carpet! So this is an excellent feature.
This vacuum deserves no less then five stars!
