Customer Review: Yet another product that sucks.
Summary: 2 Stars
Foot latch broken, window edge sticks out there so it can easily be broken, but the worst failure of this product is the water heater... you leave any drops in there (oh, you cannot access it because it's hidden inside the upright handle) and you are sure to have a stopped up system... the metal will corrode into line-plugging oxide, and any minerals will also end the units life. Did they say use distilled water? Heater made of non-corroding stainless? Oh no.
So have an air compressor around to blow out the lines when you are through with the job...
Did they suggest STEAM? 212-degrees? Another lying joke, smirk.. they say 'heats water'... ok then. More like lukewarm water cleaner.
Practically zero suction on the hand tools, buts LOTS OF WARM SQUIRTING WATER.
Uh oh, unintentionally let go of the handle and it dropped to ground... breaking the trigger guard... oh amazing plastic junk.
Rent a carpet unit from the local grocery store and save yourself grief later and expense now... goes for all these Bissell look-alike carpet 'steam' cleaners.
Did anyone at Bissell actually consumer test this design before sending it out for production?
