Customer Review: A Name I Thought I Could Trust

I am very disappointed in this product. Purchased 07/21/08. Malfunctioned on first use on 07/23/08. The gear on the motor to the brush (toothed belt), came off on first use. Thus, no brush action. The box the product came in stated "Do Not Return to Store." I called Bissell & they had me take it to local service center. Representative said the problem was common with this model. Hopefully the replacement will not have same problem. I somehow feel this will be a recurring problem. I cannot, however, blame Target for a poor quality product. I will update this review as soon as I get the product back....... or replaced "NEXT WEEK???"
